2025 Update
Welcome to the new year and the next chapter of my little life! I’m so excited to kick off this fresh start with all of you.
For the new faces around here, hi, I’m Laura Cassady. I’m the friend you can count on to bring energy, encouragement, and a whole lot of transparent talk to the table. No matter where you’re at in life or motherhood, my goal with this platform is to share all the tips, tools, and strategies you need to thrive—whether that’s in parenting, self-care, nutrition, health, fitness, or just getting through the day with a little more happiness.
A Little About Me
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in strategic communications. My career started in my hometown in marketing and media with brands like (614) Magazine and Red, White & BOOM! In 2018, life brought me to Kansas City to support my husband Kyle’s career as a B-2 Air Force pilot.
In KC, I continued to build my marketing career with roles in fitness and aesthetics, working with brands like TITLE Boxing Club, Synergy Aesthetics, and VIO Med Spa. These roles taught me how powerful it is to help people feel their best—whether they’re looking to start a business in the medspa industry or find a skincare solution that gives them that extra glow.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, I watched as gyms and clubs shut their doors, limiting resources for my fellow health-minded friends. This inspired me to enroll in nutrition school through the Institute of Transformational Nutrition (ITN) and become a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach (CTNC). With my CTNC certification, I gained the knowledge to help others nourish their bodies with simple, science-backed strategies—all tailored to busy lifestyles.
I launched a virtual coaching business and loved connecting with clients to create personalized wellness solutions. However, as my career in marketing grew and our family expanded, I realized the challenges of balancing a 1:1 coaching business, a growing family, and my professional life. I decided to put the business on hold to focus on other priorities—but my passion for sharing health and wellness tips never went away.
Becoming a Mom
The real adventure began in 2022 when I became a mom to our daughter, Landon. Just 356 days later, Kyle and I welcomed our son, Hayes, and our family has been full of love and chaos ever since!
Now, I’m thrilled to reignite my passion for health and wellness by sharing tips and tricks with you as a certified health coach. My focus is on helping busy moms nourish their bodies so they can feel and perform their best—because, let’s face it, as moms, we’re running on overdrive 24/7.
This is a space where I can share everything I’m learning (and still figuring out) about parenting, health/ fitness, self-care, and staying sane as a mom.
