Our Dream Wedding at The Broadmoor
We made it to the big day!! After the excitement of our gender reveal, you’d think nothing could top that… but wow, our wedding weekend at The Broadmoor was truly magical from start to finish.
The Perfect Getting-Ready Spot: Our Brownstone Brunch
One of the best decisions we made for the weekend was renting one of the Brownstones at The Broadmoor. It was perfect in every way—spacious, cozy, and made for the ultimate wedding weekend HQ. With three bedrooms, our siblings and their spouses were able to stay with us, which made everything feel even more intimate and special.
We kicked off the festivities with a mini happy hour on Thursday when everyone flew in, and on the wedding day itself, the entire wedding party got ready together—which was so much fun. We set up a big brunch buffet, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the day.
And yes, all of Kyle’s friends humored me by wearing the eye patches I swear by—because glowing skin is a wedding day must!
The Ceremony: A View That Feels Like Magic
We said “I do” at Lakeside Terrace, which just so happens to be my favorite view in the entire world. There’s something about the mountains in the background, the water, and the whole peaceful setting that felt straight out of a dream.
One of our good friends officiated, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our ceremony was short, sweet, and incredibly meaningful—exactly what we wanted.
Music was so important to us, and TH Entertainment completely delivered on every single one of our song requests.
Cocktail Hour (That We Missed)
We hosted cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the Broadmoor’s grand entrance, and I know it was beautiful… because everyone told me it was!
Kyle and I, however, spent that time taking all of our photos—but honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. Having those photos to look back on? Completely worth it.
The Reception: A Ballroom Celebration
If you’ve ever been to The Broadmoor, you might recognize the main ballroom—it’s where they host their famous brunch! From the first time I walked into that room, I knew it was where I wanted to celebrate our wedding.
It was everything I imagined and more.
We kicked things off with:
🥂 My dad’s heartfelt toast
👰♀️ My sister’s Maid of Honor speech
🤵♂️ Kyle’s brother’s Best Man speech
And then? We danced the night away with Party Crashers Band, who absolutely brought the energy. It was nonstop fun from start to finish.
The After-Party: Bowling & Boozy Milkshakes
Because the party obviously didn’t stop there. 😉
We rented out the bowling alley at PLAY for our after-party, which was so much fun and the perfect way to keep the night going. Think late-night snacks, boozy milkshakes, and (slightly competitive) bowling.
Honestly, I can’t imagine a better way to end the night.
The Perfect Wedding Weekend
Every single detail of this weekend was perfectly executed by SK Events. From the timeline to the tiniest details, they made everything feel seamless, stress-free, and so much fun.
Looking back, it was exactly what we dreamed of—a weekend filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments with our favorite people. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Would I relive this weekend over and over again? Without a doubt, and probably not pregnant next time.
