Spring Forward: A Mind & Body Refresh

Welcome to the Last Month of Q1!

Can you believe we’re already in March? This is the perfect time to take a temperature check on my 2025 vision, goals, and intentions. If you’ve been crushing your resolutions, amazing! If you’ve fallen off track, this is the moment to refocus, realign, and lock in. It’s not too late to set new intentions or revisit the ones that may have slipped. March is the bridge between winter and spring—a fresh start, a new momentum. I’m using this month to really commit to my health and wellness (even with a million moving pieces flying around me), and here’s exactly what I’m prioritizing:

Physical Health Goals

Move Daily – My goal is to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, whether it’s walking, strength training, or just staying active in little ways. Even if that means using my walking desk during calls instead of a full workout, movement is non-negotiable for me this month.

Hydration Challenge – I’m aiming for a full gallon of water a day and making it a priority to drink a full glass with Re-Lyte before any coffee. Lately, I’ve fallen into the habit of drinking multiple cups of coffee before having any water, and it’s leaving me dehydrated. Time to fix that!

Spring Clean My Diet – I’m focusing on whole foods and prioritizing protein, and the biggest change I’m making? EAT LUNCH. I always get caught up in back-to-back meetings, and then suddenly, I realize I’ve skipped an actual meal and my blood sugar is tanking. This month, I’m committing to planning out lunches so I don’t have to rely on drinking my lunch.

Sleep Reset – I’m setting a bedtime of 10 PM and sticking to it (as I type this at 10:30 PM... oops). Sleep is so important, especially now that my kids are somewhat sleeping through the night and I know that being well-rested sets the tone for my entire day.

Outdoor Time – The weather is warming up, and I’m making it a priority to spend at least 20-30 minutes outside daily—fresh air, sunshine, and that natural dose of vitamin D are essential.

Mental Wellness Goals

Morning Mindfulness – I’m starting each day with 5-10 minutes of intention setting, combining my to-do list with a moment of calm and my red light therapy.

Unplug Before Bed – Reducing screen time 30-60 minutes before bed is a must. So by 9:30 PM, my phone is getting put away (or at least that’s the goal!).

Declutter for Mental Clarity – I’m tackling one area each week to declutter—whether it’s my home, digital files, or pantry. Also, I don’t really have a choice this month because we are moving the first week of April—so it’s decluttering season whether I like it or not!

Read or Listen to Something Positive – My goal is to finish Mel Robbins’ Let Them on Audible—it’s SO good so far, and I’m making time to soak up all the wisdom.

Daily Self-Care Ritual – I’m sticking to my new skincare routine no matter what! No skipping, no cutting corners.

March is always a busy time, but instead of letting that overwhelm me, I’m choosing to be flexible and intentional with my time. I know that if I take care of myself, I’ll have more energy, more focus, and feel my absolute best. If you’re feeling off track, this is your reminder that it’s not too late to reset. Let’s make this month count!
